Current Context: President Droupadi Murmu conferred Padma Awards 2024 to 71 out of 139 selected recipients at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday. The awards — Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri — were announced on the eve of India’s 76th Republic Day.
