• He was the founder of (ICRC) International Committee of the Red Cross and the recipient of the first Nobel Peace Prize in 1901.
• It is the world’s largest humanitarian aid organisation.
• It is a non-profit organisation’s motto, “Per Humanitatem ad Pacem,” translates to “With humanity, towards peace,” which reflects their message of promoting world peace.
