Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Becomes President of UAE

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (popularly known as MBZ) has been unanimously Elected President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the Federal Supreme Council. He is also the Ruler of  Abu Dhabi (UAE).

• According to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs (UAE), he will succeed the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former President of the UAE, and his appointment is made in accordance with Article 51 of the Constitution.
