Current Context : Recently, Indian Navy participated in the 29th edition of the biennial Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise was held in Hawaii (USA).
ABOUT RIMPAC EXERCISE
- It is the world’s largest international multilateral maritime exercise.
- Aim: To build relationships, enhance interoperability, contribute to the peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.”
- It is led by the US Navy, approx 29 countries are participating in the current edition of the multi-dimensional exercise.
