Point Nemo

As part of the Navika Sagar Parikrama II mission, Indian Navy officers Lieutenant Commander Dilna K. and Lieutenant Commander Roopa A., aboard the sailing vessel INSV Tarini, successfully navigated through Point Nemo, the Oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility.

• It is situated in the South Pacific Ocean, approximately 2,688 kilometers (1,670 miles) from the nearest land.
