Fisheries training centre & solar power plant

Current Context : Chief Minister of Himachal laid the foundation stones of a 5 MW solar power plant at Bhanjal village and a state-of-the art fisheries training centre at Deoli village of the Gagret Assembly segment in Una district.

• Funds Allocated : Rs 31 crore for solar power plant
  • Rs 5.17 crore for fisheries training centre

ABOUT SOLAR POWER PLANT :

• Capacity : 5 MW
• HP Power Corporation Ltd was constructing the solar power project
• Electricity generation :54 million units of power every year.
• Annual revenue generation of Rs 3.82 crore.

Significance : will help in reducing 396 tonne of carbon emission every year.
