International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

Observed every year on 26 June,

• Aim : To promote awareness of the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourages action for a drug-free society.
• Established by the United Nations General Assembly.
• Aims to strengthen global cooperation against illicit drug trafficking and abuse.
