Amrit Bharat Station Scheme

Under the ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, PM Modi laid down the foundation stones for redevelopment of 553 railway stations. KALIA scheme extended

The Odisha state extended the cash assistance scheme, Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) for farmers to overcome distress, by three more years with a proposed expenditure of ₹6,029 crore. The scheme exclusively meant for small and marginal farmers as well as sharecroppers will be operational till 2026-27. The state has been implementing the KALIA scheme since 2018-19 as a majority of the population of the state is directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture for their livelihood. Women Safety Scheme

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs of continuation of implementation of Umbrella Scheme on ‘Safety of Women’ at a total cost of Rs.1179.72 crore during the period from 2021-22 to 2025-26. Out of the total project outlay, 885.49 crore will be provided by MHA from its own budget and Rs.294.23 crore will be funded from Nirbhaya Fund. India is set to launch its first Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Uttarakhand. The HEMS will be stationed at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh and will be able to airlift accident victims within a radius of 150 km to the medical facility. The HEMS is part of the government's initiative to expand medical outreach and trauma care services using helicopters. Arunachal Pradesh has become the first northeastern state to achieve 100% coverage under the Har Ghar Jal scheme providing functional household tap connection in every rural home. Arunachal now has joined the elite club of Goa, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Haryana,Telengana, Puducherry, Gujarat, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh which have attained 100% coverage. Sikkim INSPRIRES
